While you’re here, I need to let you know that there are a handful of posters on Hexbear that combine to make the culture of the site what it is and without whom the character of this place would be so much different and worse, and that you’re my favorite of that group. I just remembered toasts, so I’m going to be a little tiny notification that semi-randomly shows up in the bottom middle of your phone screen for like 2 seconds and then disappears leaving you wondering why the developers felt the need to do that when the toast function is clearly there for messages specifically about a function you performed, like clarifying a refresh or a notification of an error that occurred when you tapped on something.
Your vibe on this site is everything I aspire to be. You are always adding something pertinent or funny, you’re insightful and chill, you just seem like a cool person that everyone would be lucky to know. I wish I had a friend just like you irl, but I’m happy to settle for having you here on Hexbear. 🥂

Well, you can block me all you want, but it won’t stop me from looking at your profile, seeing this thought-provoking comment on protest tactics amongst all the good bits, and noticing what a cool poster you are. Your statement reminded me of the way the revolution started in one of my favorite pieces of fiction - a trio of old ladies starts digging up the street during a protest in Starhawk’s The Fifth Sacred Thing - and that’s a beautiful way to start the day, thank you. 🥂
