If I’m reading this right, they’re saying that because Model 3’s don’t need oil changes, they aren’t seen by mechanics regularly. As a result, small problems aren’t caught before they become larger problems. This results in a larger number of repairs for when they do finally go to the shop.
That seems to be the gist. It’s an interesting caveat caused by Teslas lack of repair/dealership network. Even with teslas lackluster fit and finish, ultimately it is a simple car compared to petrol cars, but an ID4 will have a maintenance schedule, and dealers to take it to.
Or their cars are truly shitty.
Reuters: Tesla blamed drivers for failures of parts it long knew were defective
Elon fanbois will simply ramp up the reality distortion field and all will be well.
