Interesting to see that X (formerly Twitter) has settled on “Account creation date: If an account was created in 2014 or earlier.” as one of the signals that an account holder is 16 or older.

If you do the maths, anyone that created an X (formerly Twitter) account on their thirteenth birthday in 2014 would be about 24 now. That’s quite a conservative eight years safety margin. Nothing too interesting, just a curiosity.

I’m not sure if you’ve stumbled across Teepa Snow but she’s a multi-decade occupational therapist and dementia educator. If you search “bored” on her YouTube at least three of those videos talk about helping with boredom. All of her stuff is amazing though and targeted at the person or people caring for the person with dementia.

There are separate quality settings for streaming vs downloading, and you can set it per device*, would those fix the issue?

I’ve noticed that the caching will always choose the highest quality available, so I can’t easily flip back and forth between qualities to compare and give you a “big difference” answer. I am definitely noticing more in the low end – bass guitar/cello/kicks are all much more present in the mix. But I can do without that when I’m listening on my phone while out and about. At home with unlimited streaming its no problem.
