2·22 days agoSorry about that. I guess I completely missed your point that you were referring to data sharing only via the new “agreement” getting foisted on people. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get into Merlin.
Here are some screenshots from my router administration pages. Notice the “Powered by Asuswrt-Merlin”.
In the first image you can see that I have a particular feature disabled.
When I toggle it on I receive a warning that my information will be collected by Trend Micro.
I included another screenshot showing the location where I would withdraw my consent to having my data collected, were I to actually use the advanced features of the router, that I thought I was paying for at the point of sale. Instead I was apparently paying for the privilege of having the option dangled in front of me, behind an agreement for yet another, separate company to collect my family’s data.

The data sharing happens on merlin too
The data sharing persists even with merlin. I get a prompt about it as soon as I tried to enable those advanced features. I still get updates though.

That’s a good point, I actually have not. I came to that conclusion based on the reviews I’ve read.
I may have purchased that exact item from Amazon a few months ago. It is 100% worth saving up for a bit to purchase something this good. Debian stable is fully supported. It’s currently just my streaming client but it’s pretty powerful and sips power compared to off lease desktops or even laptops.
7·1 month agoIt’s a bit late in the game to drum up support for third party candidates. Republicans have been playing the long game and pushing local elections hard right for years, decades even. You can’t jump in a few months before elections and expect to make any difference other than ensuring the Republican base wins again.
Ranked choice is the only solution.
If you date him, wouldn’t you be settling?
He’s getting upset and aggravated because of who you are and the things you want out of life. A good partner candidate would try to help you achieve those things instead of try to change those things about you.

61·2 months agoI’m not centuries old but I’ve used it to refer to individuals when I didn’t know their gender, and also when it wasn’t necessary to indicate gender to determine who I was talking about.
I’m almost fifty and went to private schools if it helps.
The issue here, I’m sorry to say, is that your parents dropped the ball. They were the ones responsible for your health and the safety of your environment.
