I don’t know Primewire, so I’m just leaving you the websites of the German public broadcasters here, they rarely have mainstream popular stuff, but maybe something fits your need:

If you want to download or watch those productions on mobile, I can recommend https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.christinecoenen.code.zapp

U sailing the seas or staying legal? Legal options are the usual Amazon prime, netflix and so on. Local ones would be idk maybe Pro7Max or something.

The ones where you raise the Sails and get going, there are mostly One-Click-Hosters but for direct streaming there are hosters like s(dot)to or the ol’ reliable kinox.

Have a glance at the megathread of the piracy megathread in dbozers lemmy community for more detailed infos.

I have never heard of Primewire but there were a bunch of movie/tv show streaming websites about a decade ago with direct streaming (like movie2k/movie4k) but they got busted HARD and IIRC the people behind them got long prison sentences.

Just this week I read the authorities had confiscated cryptocurrency valued at around 2 billion (!) euros from one of them currently still in jail.

      That’s three different things:

      • Joyn - paid private streaming platform (probably geo-restricted as well)
      • Mediathekview - inofficial search engine for ARD/ZDF/Arte/SRF/ORF streaming platforms (free, but geo-restricted)
      • ARD-Mediathek - ARD streaming platform (free, geo-restricted)
