Awesome. My deck is supposed to arrive today. Hopefully I dont get an email about it cause I’m gonna be so tempted to just fucking bail on work and go install 14,000 games on it.

Me too! The buttons on the OLED feel more “polished” than my lcd. Been happy with my upgrade decision. Was happy with my LCD decision. System has been great for me. Gaming more on it in the past couple years than I’ve gamed in the previous five.

Side note. As of tonight I’m five challenges away from 100% in Vampire Survivors.

Yeah. I keep going back to it in between getting into bigger games. Like, I finished assassins creed iv and now I need a break from a long game for a bit, so I go back to VS.

Next up, the new version of stardew valley is about to come out. I think it’s time I introduce my SD to that game when it does.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Another milestone for Valve here, as the Steam Deck has now managed to hit the 14,000 mark for games that are rated either Playable or Verified.

Using the list from SteamDB since that includes games you may own on Steam that have been delisted from the store, but are still playable, it’s an impressive number and there’s going to be something for everyone.

Although, Valve’s rating system is just one measure, even some Unsupported games can be made to run - and you can install and play anything, this is just what Valve have actually tested.

The numbers are at time of writing with 14,010 overall Playable + Verified:

Some interesting recently  Verified games from over the last month or so include:

    STAR WARS: Battlefront Classic Collection

The original article contains 151 words, the summary contains 127 words. Saved 16%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

By the time I can justify buying a deck I hope the deck 2 is out and just as successful. I really want one of these things!

I bought the first one and loved it. I sold it and bought the OLED one and love it even more. If version 2 comes out in a year and a half (summer 2025 is kind of my guess) I’ll probably sell my OLED and buy that one.

The system has really been great for me, since I have a huge backlog of unplanned games and don’t ever buy AAA titles upon release. I wait till I can get em for under $20, so most games I’m playing don’t bump up against performance issues.
