Consider joining relevant larger communities first, there’s probably some VR community out there that probably needs your content. I don’t think Lemmy is big enough (yet) for such a niche Samsung Gear VR community, but go for it!!
You’re probably not wrong, but the Gear VR ecosystem is quite specific and most “general” subs wouldn’t apply to it, so I’m hoping to spread some knowledge about it this way (so that it isn’t all guarded by spez).
I currently have no interest in this topic, but I love the growth of more niche subs on Lemmy! Wishing you all the best!
