It’s not that he’s refusing to say, it’s that he hasn’t unfrozen since being asked the question.

It’s absolutely insane to me that he is still in any sort of power after that happened.

He’s been running since last reboot, but not without errors. His Trump directory was damaged, and a new one was created when he stated endorsement.

I wonder if you had a time machine and went to McConnell day 1 as a senator and showed him that video of his future, what his reaction would be.

I was listening to him speak on C-SPAN a few years ago (pandemic) and heard him admit his grudge against democrats included a D whip letting a D congressman go over their allotted time by 3 minutes in 1987 and he’d never let it go

Because he knows that saying “yes, absolutely” will only lose him votes.

Nobody forget, he is the one that engineered the overturning of roe v wade, not Trump who only scribbled on shit with a sharpie.

I don’t actually think he cares at all, at least not personally. I think he sees it as an effective way to divide the American public and win political points depending on what he does and when, but I would be shocked if he had genuine moral opposition. Because that would require him to have genuine moral stances, and I think his only strong feelings in his entire life have been about getting and holding on to power.

He worked for decades to overturn roe v wade.

Do you really think that’s the actions of a guy that doesn’t care?

I really don’t, at least not because of any strong moral convictions. I believe he cared a lot about abortion as a means to an end, though.

Mitch McConnell refuses to say whether he supports a US national abortion ban

    That’s old-school Republican for “yes”.

Based on his pauses, I’d say he’s physically not capable of giving opinions after the holes in his brain

what scares me is its to the point with that party that he is one of the better ones. they have went from their most shit politicians becoming the best of what they got.

He’s not “better.” He’s just more politically savvy. He’s still a horrible person who deserves to burn in Hell.

Im only judging him from what hes gotten done in his term. Not as him personally and yes for me I do not see a term that a previous president (in my lifetime) has done better. and many many have done much much wose.
