I realize that the benefits of lower wages and a more abusable work force are attractive, but they simply don’t outweigh the costs.
Nothing to do with immigration. But direct cation from the Tories, who spent the 80s arguing social housing was unfair competition on the private rental sector. Went out of their way to destroy that sector. Now no competition exists to limit housing costs. Our own voters for the last 50 years are responsible for housing costs.

But the Tories have been playing this game since the 1920s, when immigration bullshit first launched against German immigrants in the press.
