If he is legitimately spending more time with his children, it is solely because he wants to appear sympathetic to the next shooter.

Luigi should have thought of the repercussions of his acts, now a child will have to spend a significant amount of time next to the bazinga billionaire

There is so much going on in this picture, and nobody looks comfortable. Musk looks like he’s struggling to keep the kid next to him. The guy with the earbuds behind him seems alarmed for some reason. Everyone else looks bored at best.

Though to be fair, I wouldn’t be surprised if every room Musk went into had a mix of people feeling either bored, alarmed, or desperate to escape.

TBF this is any time you bring your kid to an adult group, lol. Kid probably just wants to split and be with whoever the actual present caregiver is.

Oh, absolutely. I can’t imagine Musk is used to it. I gotta admit, I get a petty kick out of the idea that he’s struggling to keep a kid in line. After living in that privileged bubble surrounded by “yes men” and outsourcing parenting duties for so long, he’s suddenly at the whims of a small child. That loss of control is massive.

‘normalizing kids being part of their parents lives’ bullshit

Most jobs I’ve had would fire you if you brought your kid to work.

How is he going to be running a department on efficiency with a lil kid running around? A lot of people remember working from home with their kids at home…

Easy. Musk is going to ignore their child like his ignores all his other children.

Is it bring your kid to work day? Why am I suddenly seeing so many pictures of Leon parading his kid around government offices? Why is he the only one doing this? Vivek also has two sons but you don’t se him parading them around like sacrificial pawns for the press.

It is normal for kids to be an active part of a parents life. The suggestion that it needs normalizing is rather bizarre. What does that even mean? “People should’ve warned me about getting kids, what I didn’t realize was that being a parent involves a kid being an active part of my life, if only I knew I never would’ve wanted that”. Or “I was so ashamed to tell my friends that I spent time with my son. I was certain they thought it wasn’t normal, everyone looks down on it. Thank God Elon Musk normalized it now”. Yeah that all sounds very reasonable.

You’re right. I’m sure this post accusing famed involved parent… Elon Musk… of disingenuously trotting his kid out for photo ops is way off base. I wonder how his other kids are doing.
