They found a corpse in the car. I can’t help but wonder if the driver meant to kill himself or was going to detonate the explosion from the driver’s seat and then run away, only to find that the Cybertruck is too shit to let him out.

Cause like… yeah, causing an explosion which in best case scenario will make billionaires flinch for a day is fucking stupid in the first place, much less killing yourself while doing it. Apparently, 7 people got injured during this, and I’m sure some of them were just abused hotel employees.

Seven victims were hurt by the explosion, all of whom are in stable condition, Deputy Fire Chief Billy Samuels said.

“The fact that this was a Cybertruck really limited the damage that occurred inside of the valet, because it had most of the blast go up through the truck and out,” McMahill said. He noted that the glass front doors to the hotel were not broken during the explosion.

Also, nothing that exploded was really meant for demolitions so yeah, a few five gallon cans of unleaded and some jugs of camp fuel aren’t going to explode with enough force to cause any damage to a building, cybertruck or not.
