Are they still saying that? I remember it right after the election, but I figured the polling data would have sunk in by now.

I like how the president (Trump) has basically unlimited power to get shit done, while on the other hand the president (Biden) has basically no power at all!

X lost because fewer people voted for them

Actually your electoral system does not work like that

in 2016 le orange man got ~63 million votes while hillary cringeton got ~65.9 million votes

      65.9 > 63

so “fewer people voted” for drumpf and yet he won

I’m not a yank, but I’m pretty sure the president is decided by the electoral college.

Citizen votes are just a barometer for popularity. The actual deciding power is firmly within bourgeoisie circles.

More or less. In theory people vote for “electors” who vote for their candidate in the electoral college. In practice there’s plenty of states where electors can ignore the will of the people with anywhere between no consequence to a fine and/or replacement.
        Wiki: Faithless Elector

Not that the will of the people matters much in a country so thoroughly controlled by the bourgeoisie at so many levels to begin with.

Can you explain the low voter turn out and the near identical policies of both parties?

Can you explain why Each dem president immediately talks about “reaching across the isle” the moment they get in power?

Can you explain the gutted educational system that leaves the public unable to make an informed vote?

Translation: Harris lost because she didn’t even try to capture the magic of Obama and promise anything different for her constituencies, that would convince Biden’s voters to back her, especially on Falastin.

Putting aside even the electoral college and who chose her as candidate anyway (the DNC).
