Political compass memes always end up feeling like that. The idea comes from the original political compass quiz site lacking nuance and placing people into extreme ideologies. The memes were meant to parody the site by ironically conflating normal views with extremist views, but the parody seems to be missing and they’ve just become what they were meant to parody.
