Honestly not sure where to put this. I think this is political but it’s also environmental. Either way, at these times when more and more are struggling, this is welcome news and should help some of the most in need.

I thought the redused price was an effort to get it taken but to not allow someone to take all and waste it at home. Olio and too good to go over simmaler setups but there is a metric to limit frivolous taking with these apps.
I’ve seen people rep farming on Olio. Too Good To Go isn’t free. Both improve the food waste issue but I think this comes at it from the angle of helping the needy rather than ending food waste.
