As someone who has witnessed the very unsettling act of an orangutan male forcing himself on a very unwilling orangutan female, I don’t believe the bottom left fits.

It fits if you know that what orangutans are doing is beyond sin. The don’t partake in sin because they are the sin.

Na. It took me too long already to understand it’s not about geometry.

To be “sinful” is to act against your best interests.

        According to what definition?

“Sin” is heavily religiously connotated. Any definition that does not include that context misses an important part.

Okay, incorporate that into a definition without showing favoritism to any one religion.

The central idea behind sin in all religions is what I said - acting against your own interest, i.e., what God wants for you

But what if what said god wants for me is against my own interest?

      Ooo, the catechism!

Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, the law of God. Westminster Shorter Catechism

Sin is an offense against reason, truth, and right conscience; it is failure in genuine love for God and neighbor caused by a perverse attachment to certain goods. It wounds the nature of man and injures human solidarity. It has been defined as “an utterance, a deed, or a desire contrary to the eternal law.” Catholic catechism

So, religion and faith are sin? Interesting lol

Wait, is there something missing or am I not getting something? How can “wanting to conform to the law of god” be sin?
