It was revealed yesterday that @snooting@wetshav.ing has been using a box of Personna “Lab Blue” which are in fact not Lab Blue, but Platinum Chrome. Platinum Chrome are made in Germany these days, not in the USA like the box says. Why anyone on Amazon would go through the trouble of switching these out is beyond me. So strange.
In choosing a razor today, I recalled that Lab Blue in a Legacy is one of snooting’s favorite combos – well I guess now we know it’s actually Platinum Chrome in the Legacy that he likes! Yesterday I determined that there’s a very good chance that these Personna GEM Double Edge blades are the same as Lab Blue/Super/AccuForge, so in honor of the recent shit coming to light I used this combo. Great shave!
I feel like I’ve been deceived this whole time…

Day 3
Today, I got a sample of Cooper & French Old Goat, a goat milk and tallow based soap. It lathered nicely and left my face feeling nice after the shave.
I also received a Spearhead Shaving Khaki kit replica, which I immediately put into use (for a little Gillette Travel Tech L1 that I recently found at an antique shop), and a couple boxes of blades (BIC Chrome Platinum and Tiger Platinum).

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was a test shave for the Wade & Butcher 7/8 Extra Hollow ground razor. I did not expect this razor to shave so well. It has a wide bevel that I though would make the shaving experience harsh.
