LPT: You can just add a + and an arbitrary text to your mail alias and it will still be received in the same mailbox.

shitass+randombla@domain.tld and shitass+lululu@domain.tld will both be delivered to shitass@domain.tld

It’d be low lift and inconsequential to make a registration system filter email aliases. Not saying Netflix does, because I don’t use that piece of shit. I’m just saying, don’t become reliant on this.

I use this for gmail to filter out spam. I used it for Best Buy and it worked online but when the cashier asked me for my email address the system didn’t allow + signs in the email field.

I usually don’t but I had Best Buy rewards. And I would rather give my email than my phone number.

I’ve personally found it more reliable to purchase a domain, use an email host, and then set up a catch-all. Then you can just use best.buy@dot.com, netflix@dot.com, and so forth on the fly.

And then if necessary to combat spam, just set a sieve filter to turn off the faucet on whatever email you need to.

Is this free month Netflix trial in the room with us right now??

Meme looks to be unfortunately somewhat out of date by now…
