Every generation has had that one weird trend. This one’s here to stay. Get over it.

You may even find it funny if you stopped being grouchy about it.

Edit: I guess this is a truly unpopular opinion. You rarely see that on this comm…

I wouldn’t quite call it GOAT.
It’s just another insider anti-joke, which is ok.

Except it’s not insider any more.

So whatever. Over-representation in media effectively removed any funnyness by now.

Maybe as a nostalgic throwback in a few years again…

6-7 doesn’t hold a candle to YOLO. It’s not even one of the better generational memes and will not have a lasting impression. It’s dumb and fun and will fizzle out soon.

I mean it’s not world changing.

I like that it brings out absurd defaultism. Boomers that are losing their minds, people speculating about how bad it is and kids like it.

It makes me feel indifferent in a major way.

Compared to Gen Z slang, it’s mediocre at best. I’m a millennial but there’s no denying they were the funniest.

Gen A kind of sucks at slang so far so…maybe it’s goated in that regard? I can’t really think of any funny gen A things.

Stupid for the sake of stupid is just stupid- and for the record, there is no good type of stupid.

The whole sixty seven thing is only funny because you have to force it to have a meaning. And the meaning is that there’s no meaning. We get it. Sooooo meta!

    It’s just fucking stupid.

Trust me when I say this- you’re going to be embarrassed that you ever thought this shit was funny when you’re older.
