A serious vanguardist wouldn’t announce they’re a vanguardist.
Vanguardism refers to Leninism, vanguardists typically announce extremely explicitly that they are vanguardists.

Still, the USA has multiple vanguard parties, including the PSL, PCUSA, and FRSO.

i’d be less convinced of the necessity of a vanguard if people were popping ice agents on the street consistently
