Lack of nuance there just means you’re not supposed to be rude to IDF soldiers in general because every once in a while one of them has the decency to follow their leader.
I always forget about that nuance. That’s the nuance where I remember that IDF soldiers blowing up Gaza are human beings with feelings and they have compulsory military service? But then I always go too far with that nuance and remember that they can go to jail if they refuse to serve, and many of them have. Or they leave. Nuance can be so pesky!
