    See this is how I know Lemmy hasn’t caught on quite yet. If this were Reddit I’d see a ton of “LaBoR vAlUe ThEoRy BaD!” Comments from reddit “economists.”

    Based. Wage theft (literally withholding wages from workers) is way a way larger source of theft than any petty theft or time theft. And that’s the wages capitalists have promised them, not the wages they deserve through the labor theory of value.

    I didn’t steal office supplies at my last job since I didn’t work in an office but damn did I drink up all the hot chocolate provided, way more than they thought I should lol. Not the best example but it’s all I got.

    I would never steal - I am not a big supporter of redistribution of goods in a workplace. It’s not one of the most ethical ways to recompensate for the stolen labor and not a point of honor. I totally don’t have a drawer full of trophies.
