Loving it… But I’m wondering if we couldn’t figure out how to spring him ala oceans 11(12,13,14, idk) and use the scenario as a dnd campaign to map out the many different possibilities across thousands of play groups at once.

DnD came from military war games, it all comes together.
Hell yeah, I bet plenty of folks would “play” a campaign like that.
