30 minutes early without question. Just give me a wall to lean against and I’ll be fine.
Being 30 minutes early to everything makes life a lot less stressful.
You have time to prepare yourself for your appointment.
You don’t go into panic mode when you’re stuck in traffic unexpectedly, you miss an exit or your train runs late.
You can chill out in the slow lane while listening to Dub.
Or strike up a conversation when you meet someone you know while walking to your appointment.
I call it slow living, and I love it.100% agree. I’m in a heavily car-dependent area so it’s 30 minutes that I can take to myself alone in my car. I don’t get much time all by myself these days; a lot of it is in my car. It sounds awful (and let’s be real, it’s less than ideal) but it’s what I’ve got and I make the most of it.
I also personally think it’s just inconsiderate to be late all the time. I know that it can be a cultural thing, but where I live, it’s not cultural. Being late means making someone else wait. When I’m on the receiving end, especially if it’s chronic, I feel disrespected and irritated. I try very hard not to make others feel that way.
I already usually am thirty minutes early, so I’ll stay with that.
I’d vomit from stress, anxiety, and feeling humiliated for being late so let’s not take the always late.
30 mins early!!! I can’t even imagine being 10 minutes late all the time, thats just catastrophic.
Def 30 min early. I’m already 15 mins early, so might as well double that. Running late gives me mad anxiety.
30 min early. when else do i get the time to read? :)
30 minutes early because some stuff you cant be late to.
well looking back at my life it looks like I chose 10 minutes late 😭
10 minutes late, for sure. 5-10 minutes early would be fine, but a whole 30 minutes would be way too much time out of my life considering everything I do.
I try for 30 minutes early, but my spouse and I both have ADHD so between our makeup and accessories and other getting ready things we usually wind up late even when we plan to be early
30 minutes early, but I usually am that early anyway
I was gonna say 10 minutes late. But looking at the other responses i feel kinda nervous 😅. Im usually 10-15 minutes early to everything. I can’t concentrate to read or crochet or anything during that time and i end up managing various “i’m boooored”s and trying to be entertaining but not disruptive to people around me.
Often my appointments ask i arrive 5-15 minutes early. And then run10-30 minutes late. The ones that don’t ask me to arrive early are often 5 minutes late. I think in my life, 10 minutes late would be fine and I wouldn’t truly miss anything.
