      No it’s the ball company that makes fake mason jars. (Well assuming it’s the same company. I honestly have no idea. But my point is)

      Because the mason jar was made by Mason the company.

      Yeah. The original owners also built the house where Bob Ross filmed the joy of painting. I think the aerospace division was spun off in the 90s tho

      Made. Past tense. Ball sold off the canning jar business awhile ago, they license the name for it but they have nothing to do with the jars you’ll find for sale today. They do still make commercial food and beverage packaging; a lot of regular everyday aluminum beverage cans will sport the Ball logo somewhere.

    This is… a weird thing to report on isn’t it?

    Like, I’m sure there are plenty of parts from many different companies from dozens of countries inside these things. Unless the components are something substantial, like “tomahawk missile only” parts, I don’t really understand the significance.
