I’m straight and attracted to women. That means whatever I fuck is a women regardless of their genitals.

No. These are males (gender) presenting as feminine (presentation). Often this presentation breaks - will they have a female voice? Attitude and personality?

And if you were attracted to them… Yes, you’re attracted to a man*

But being gay or bisexual or any sexuality is a spectrum. You can be bisexual, if you choose to use that label, and attracted almost entirely to women, and then the rare man. Or be attracted to all genders but still only choose to have sex with certain genders.

I just came across someone who said they were attracted to a picture of a bear (hair man). And someone said “hey, you’re not straight” and they replied: “Im only attracted to this man, here, online, and I’m not having sex with anyone. So I’d rather claim to be straight.”

In this case I think sexuality is a process. Maybe they will end up accepting their attraction and acting on it, maybe they won’t. And either fork in the road would lead to a great life.

Is that like the consensus among scholars on the internet? Cause I have been thinking about it the same way as that other person: I am attracted to feminine traits, so I am straight.
Not that I mind at all if I’m bi or not, I am just trying to find myself so to speak. The thing for me is that if I just think of myself as bi, it feels like the easy answer. Like using bi as an umbrella term or like that meme “that’s right in goes in the square hole”. Like if you don’t fit anywhere else you fall back to being bi? Feels like a bit of a cop out answer to me.
But then maybe I really am bi. This thing is hard man.

No its not the consensus. Thats just what I’m thinking. Hey the labels are there to help you. Don’t tire yourself out over it, take the simple answer and then have fun.

There is this person I follow on social media for perfectly SFW reasons (that’s a lie), and at first, I thought, “femboy hot,” but then I learnt that she’s a woman, and although she’s still hot, it’s a different kind of hot. Still following her, though.

When I see these uber cute images I just kinda imagine a real human in my mind and they come out looking my age (mid twenties). As a fan of people playing with their gender and presentation and posting pictures of it, though, the youngest looking person Ive seen is 35… So all of those 20 year olds better keep taking care of themselves.

Cartoons have missing features, so it leaves room for your own interpretation of it. Isn’t it wonderful?

But the features that are present are round faces, bangs in face, oversized sweater, wristbands, denim overalls, etc which all kind of allude to children’s features and fashion. I’m not saying it was wrong to make this or post this, it’s a cool image, I just feel no attraction to it and therefor the caption has comically failed.

Because children can wear hoodies without them necessarily fitting, it becomes a great budget option to clothe them. Here is a random photo I literally just pulled from the internet:

I’ve stopped responding to most of you, but I like your comment especially so I’ll say: if the hoodie were my only talking point then maybe you would have some credibility in my eyes. I made a statement of preferences and all of you attack it, quite ironic for such a persecuted demographic. If so many things with such an obvious conclusion are simply coincidence, I don’t care either way. As a beholder I saw youth and it was unattractive, but feel free to discuss it amongst yourselves for all eternity.

Cool, great observation, but do you not see the many children wearing them in the image above your comment? Any examples of adults wearing it does not dismiss the fact that it’s popular attire for children.

I totally understand this, because we often attribute features that are either androgynous or culturally considered feminine (but especially androgynous features) with prepubescence. So you’ve got the rounded faces and lack of secondary sex characteristics that we would associate with older people, plus fashion that could easily be considered “younger,” and despite probably being intended to be 20 or so, they look much younger.

As somebody who’s got that scruffy white Jesus look going on but doesn’t have a square jawline and often wears hoodies, I’ve more than once been mistaken for a high school/college student - even by high school students no less - despite being in my 30s. Being hit on by college kids almost 10 years younger than you is an awkward experience I would not wish on anyone. As is having your mom be mistaken for your grandmother.

The wrist bands, denim overalls, and very oversized sweater in addition to the small frames and round faces all allude to a younger age. The far right is an outlier of the group.

Did you know that when trans people go through second puberty, which many do in their 20s, they often take up teenage aspects of their chosen gender they missed out on? So things like wrist bands and denim overalls. Very oversized sweaters are also a trans staple when you’re not sure how you feel about your body. On the small frames, you’ve just discovered the fact that there’s actually a fair bit of fatphobia in femboy culture. As for the round faces, well you see, this is a cartoon and that is a particular art style people often use.

I’m guessing you have some microbiology training?

I want to coin the term facultative bisexual. You prefer the opposite gender but in their absence you are comfortable with someone of your gender.

If only there was some kind of like, sexuality spectrum, with a label for people who might be into the same gender, or at least people on the boundary lines, some of the time
