yea i personally know at least one who seems like an anarchist based on their blanket “authoritarianism is always bad” stance, but i know his relationship with his parents and it has literally always been “don’t tell me what to do” since his teenage years. I tried to warn you all about the creepy-crawlies of DMs, but no one listened.
I mean I was one of the people that got harrassed by homophobic DMs when the site first started. I’ve only ever used DMs to check if someone is fine, continue a long comment thread privately instead of having a 50 comment deep public chat, and to contact the original developer about site bugs. (Though I don’t think they are around anymore). I don’t even understand why people would DM randoms on hexbear lol. Especially to debate? Weirdo behaviour.
