Sunscreen up comrades
moisturizer everywhere, every single day
between that and estrogen i have never been softer :stalin-feels-good:
Very simple. I wash my face and beard every time I take a shower (typically every other day unless I’m really sweating it up). Before bed, I use a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. I often forget to do this. In the morning, I put on an SPF 15 moisturizer.
I’ve had awful acne my whole life so I’ve gone through a million different treatments, but honestly I’ve had success recently just giving my face a thorough wash with warm water in the morning and evening. No products. Or maybe I’ve just finally outgrown it at (age way too old to be outgrowing acne lol)
Buy some extra pillow cases and put a fresh one on every night, it’s a game changer
The only product I regularly apply to skin is deodorant. Haven’t used soap for close to a decade unless I’m particularly grimy.
:jesus-christ:
I typically bathe twice a day, hot water and a rough towel seem to work fine. There’s an engineer who developed a bacterial spray that simulates the skins natural biome who hasn’t bathed in over a decade, but the guy looks kinda like Danny Devito and is probably not the best spokesperson. https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/cambridge-company-says-live-bacteria-spray-will-keep-you-clean/
isn’t hot water bad for your skin though? it dries it out super bad.
idk i don’t think i can ever get on board with the “no soap” thing, i have a very keen sense of smell and i find it’s hard enough to be around people at the best of times
i also live in florida though so :vivian-shrug:
my brother in christ, that guy looks like if danny devvito and :inconceivable: fucked the crypt keeper
No one did clinical trials on people taking showers every day. So what’s the basis for assuming that that is a healthy practice
this guy is a sicko lmao
