I’m pretty sure not all the Rad Power batteries are problematic, e.g. 1. they post in that article the part number of the problematic ones. and 2. I know at least 2 people who have RP’s and those bikes haven’t exploded into flames, at least not yet.
And? Rad bikes is saying replacing just the bad batteries they sold that have caused fires will drive their company into bankruptcy. If doing the bare minimuim causes your company to fail, then so be it.
They should be forced to liquidate the entire company to cover the return costs.
Why?
Because they sold faulty, dangerous products to people for money, and should compensate them for that.
If that cost shutters their bad company, than so be it.
