THEY WENT INTO THE TRENCH AND TOOK THE GRENADES: the two invaders decided to finish their assault on their own

A group of Russian occupiers came forward to storm our positions. The infantry of the K-2 Battalion was on the alert and immediately opened fire as soon as the enemy came into view. Walking across a clear field head-on to our enemy positions is strictly prohibited and punishable by penalties in the form of FPV drones and drops, and the occupiers felt this for themselves. The rest of the assault group, which reached the kill zone in our trench, awaited a denouement with a dramatic finale.

The two invaders, realizing that the assault had failed and their group was broken, decided that the best solution in this situation would be a pair of suicides. However, the Russians were not lucky here either, but their friend came to the rescue and helped the Russians fulfill their wish.

Watching this made me realize that I simply lack the capacity to imagine how fucking horrible it must be for these men. Like, they’re all seemingly healthy men in the prime of their lives, and they’re just… trudging towards certain death. How do you get so resigned? I just simply can’t fathom why anybody would willingly accept the order to walk slowly to certain death by drone, a mission that has zero strategic importance, and not just frag their commanding officers instead. I didn’t think my imagination was so limited, but it really is. I just simply cannot wrap my head around this.

Years of Dan Carlin didn’t prep me for how horrible war really is. It’s on par with any cosmic horror. People topping themselves as soon as they hear a drone is way scarier than “oh no, tentacles or something”, because it’s eminently imaginable and not even very interesting. It lays bare the fragility of life, and the potential smallness of the human spirit.

Well, they’re probably killed if they refuse the order. And more importantly even, their family and relatives are probably threatened too.

They’re dead the moment they sign for the job. And they probably discover it rather fast.

Every time I think that Russia cannot make me see anything that makes me sick anymore, they just one-up me. I think I have a fairly strong stomach, but this just made me sick

In addition to what others have said I think many of them don’t even know they’re walking into certain death. I imagine the higher ups and propaganda aren’t exactly forthcoming with that information.

I’m sure that might be the case in a lot of situations, but the guys in this video absolutely knew. There was no hustle, no scramble like you’d see in people who were looking to avoid premature death by drone. They got horribly injured, and their squadmate just calmly walked among them, shooting each of them to death.

True, I could never know about these specific guys, ykwim. My experience with the war in Ukraine is this community lol. I’ve just heard that it’s a common thing russia seems to be doing.

      They can’t.

The Ruzzians have been brainwashed into thinking that they will be killed or tortured upon surrendering, like they do with surrendering Ukrainians.

That’s a whole tragedy of unnecessary deaths unto itself inflicted by Putin’s regime upon its own soldiers.

That’s how a meat “wave” looks.

The staggering walk of that one guy in the first seconds of the video was interesting. As if his shoes were not fitting or his feet were aching badly.
