Context: 30 Rock: Homonym - A fake game show where the host says a homonym (stare/stair, meet/meat, etc), and the contestant has to guess the right word. It’s always the other one.

Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee has a round where the spellers have to spell the word without knowing which homophone it is. And I think about 30 Rock every time I watch it.
I’m guessing there’s no "can you use the word in a sentence? ” allowed in that round?
