Credit to the OP of the “Homie’s shelf” meme.
Thanks @ChadMcTruth@lemmy.world for sponsoring this meme with the blank shelf image.
Can someone explain this to me?
What’s the baby oil about…? I’m very out of the loop lol
I was just thinking they were an embarrassing combination of things… and the baby oil reference was from this story: https://www.thecut.com/article/diddy-1000-bottles-baby-oil-costco.html 🙂
Fascinating… 😅
Thank you for the context!
It’s a reference to this meme:this meme.
Thanks!
You’re welcome!
Kayne also asked trump to pardon diddy
How could you possibly be technologically adept enough to know how to use lemmy and not understand what the reference is about? No judging, just curious.
What does being technological competent enough to use lemmy have to do with knowing about the fuckin maple syrup and batteries meme…? 😂
Op gave me context and now I feel like I need context for why you expect I’d have to be familiar with this specific nonesensical meme format based on being capable of using lemmy 😅
Can anyone explain what’s wrong with syrup packets and batteries in the original?
what if the batteries go bad and carrode the syrup ? i have no idea other than it being out of the ordinary
I would argue now that there is a Jewish genocide there is no basis to treat the swastika as anything more than a religious symbol equivalent to the star of David, but older, because Aryan religions and non-Jewish Semite religions didn’t start in 586 BCE unlike Judaism
Exercise for the reader: The above user states that, in their belief, the swastika should no longer be considered a hate symbol because of the state of Israel’s genocide on Palestinians.
- What groups could benefit if that were to happen? Try to name one that is not far-right.
- Is the user’s statement valid? Consider the ethnic cleansing during the Yugoslav civil war (or other known to you conflicts where ethnic cleansing has occurred, on multiple sides, by multiple sides).
- The USA-based hate group ‘KKK,’ known for brutal attacks and murder of Black people, has been under attack from many other groups since its inception. One such group is the, also USA-based, ‘Black Panthers.’ Would attacks of the ‘Black Panthers’ on the ‘KKK’ make the above user consider the ‘KKK’ no longer a hate group?
Bonus question: The Jews were not the only victims of the Holocaust; name at least one other ethnic group and one social group that were also victims. Why hasn’t the user considered them in the statement? What could be the user’s opinion about the groups?
More than a billion mostly brown people follow faiths where the swastika is a faith symbol. Way to be a racist for the benefit of a few million of the richest white people in the world who sit atop the West’s race hierarchy.
Are you from the USA? Anyway, I put that “Try to name one that is not far-right” there for a reason (Hint: You are right and it is a religious and cultural symbol). If you want to learn more about the hakenkrauz and why it is a hate symbol in the west, read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika make some notes idk I can’t be bothered right now
If you argue that, you’re a jackass.
And if you don’t understand why, then you’re also a moron as well as a bigot jackass.
