Feels like since both parties are ideologically incapable of resolving capitalism’s contradictions, and don’t even have any new ideas for smoothing over those contradictions (it’s all just reheated fascism and neoliberalism, even the most “radical” berniecrats just offer keynesianism), they’ll just hand over power to each other every four years pending revolution. Look at the UK for another example, Labour crushed the tories, and now barely a couple of years later are themselves absolutely loathed.

The 2016 primary was even more egregious than the 2020 one (and I live in one of the states that just straight up canceled the primary)
Dems have not had a “fair” primary since 2008 when they tried and failed to stop Obama beating Clinton.
Coincidentally it’s also the last time they won an election without the incumbent republican president killing more than a million Americans through gross negligence and self immolating the global economy.
