Was really doubly excited to see it’s coming and coming soon. But nope, I won’t ever buy $80 games. With Nioh 3 I can somewhat understand it since it’s new, but this isn’t even a new game they just squeezing us.
I’m really pissed because the amount of $80 games is rising way too rapidly for my liking.I’m gonna be there for director’s cut in 2029, up to 20€.
I heard the sequel isn’t as good as the first? I pretty much forgot this game existed though. I’ll grab the directors cut on sale.
It does have a lot of improvements but sadly literally falls flat on what made the first one so enjoyable to me. I loved having to think about my routes and using tools in order to traverse a train that was not made for traversal. Now everything basically has a more or less direct walking path. You get the truck very early on and it will be your do-it-all almost the whole way through. I bought a PS5 just to play this game early and I haven’t even finished it.
Futro Truck Simulator
That’s certainly an interesting take. I loved the first game but DS2 blows it out of the water. It’s pretty much a direct improvement in almost every way in my opinion. The only downgrade I think is the difficulty, but death stranding 1 had abysmal combat so I can easily forgive the game becoming easier while also becoming more fun.
I want to play it, but they made me wait past spoiler season, so I won’t be paying full price for it anymore.
I probably also won’t pay full price, as I’ve already waited this long anyways, but I’ve barely seen anything about this game, let alone spoilers. Maybe you’re just in different circles than me, or browse algorithms more. It was nearly the same with the first game, I just didn’t see or hear much about the story at all.
It’s a handful of podcasts, and spoilers abound during GOTY in December.
Fuck fuck fuck, yes!!!
Reminds me I need to replay the first one. Hopefully they get it running on Steam Deck as that is how I played the last one. My guess is 2-4 weeks after release they will get a working version on the deck.
Not falling for this again. Fool me once, shame on you, full me twice, shame on you, Kojima.
I’m glad it’s successful though. Do your thing, you Japanese weirdo.
falling for what ? it’s shit ?
They’re definitely not shit.
I’m not the OP here, but while the DS games are not everyone’s cup of tea, which is fine, I think DS2 is an SS tier game and was my favorite of 2025. This game had me feeling all kinds of big emotions. It’s great. And the gameplay is very tight.
IDK if it’s shit, but I tried to get out of my comfort zone, bought the original after it came out on PC, and regretted it.
I’m probably not the person to judge it, but I know for sure it’s not for me.
