So Gavin has used focus group triangulation to decide that talking about his bad grades in school is a good way to humanize himself. Newsom unironically thinks that telling the American people he can’t read will make them think “Wow, he’s just like me!”
Newsom is literally just Trump but 10% less racist and more conventionally handsome. But when he tries to do the whole “I’m just a regular guy” thing like Trump, it just doesn’t work, because of how condescending Newsom is. Trump loves McDonalds, Newsom shops at Erewhon.
