Would a false flag attack work if the majority of Americans see through the shit we’re already doing in Iran? This might split the country even further among party lines at worst.

I’m not sure how effective it would be. I guess it depends on who believes their bullshit. If they have the military industrial complex firmly behind their grift, maybe they’ll just say to hell with the rest of us. I’ve believed we’re unavoidably headed for civil war since at least 2016, and nothing that’s happened since has changed my mind on that.

I’m now seeing headlines about heightened security at the Oscars. I’m split on whether they’re going to try shooting a celebrity to start riling people up for a ground invasion versus using this as an excuse to ramp up the panopticon. Either one is bad news.

I guess they are priming the US population for an “Iranian Terrorist Act”, so it likely won’t take long before a false flag event is triggered in the US. Not that it will change them loosing against Iran, but they trigger all their offensive cards right now in a desperation…

      Well -

      • They want regime change
      • They profit from military contracting
      • They profit from increased national debt
      • They don’t care about expending the lives of others

Yup, I meant to imply that with regime change (strategic dominance etc.).

yeah I wouldn’t be mad at Iran if it happened but I really hope I don’t get blown up in a random drone or missile attack (not that I think that would be likely with where I live but yknow)

it’d be cool if Iran did to the U.S. what the U.S. apparently thought it could do to Iran, just drone strike Trump and the gerontocracy in congress and uh I’m pretty sure you’d get some regime change there

Maybe when Iran said that tech companies are valid targets they meant tech companies in the American soil. Extremely unlike but I can dream at least.

Assuming it was actually Iran doing it, I think you’d have to assume it would be about logistics: perhaps that’s the easiest dense civilian target for them to hit since the path east from Iran has fewer U.S. allies to intercept the drone. Though if you can hit the coast, going after targets in the PNW could cause more damage to the U.S. military.

If the Trump administration does this as a false flag, California could be a good target to garner support for the war.

While it was first intercontinental weapon it was, well, a balloon. Of 9300 launched only around 300 managed to cross the Pacific (and it was probably much less since we all know how Usians are about seeing flying objects and having wartime paranoia). Only one caused any human losses, killing 6 people in Oregon.

There are Chinese stealth submersible drone carriers already existing. China has been selling their silkworm missle to gulf nations for decades now. Like the US, they aren’t shy about selling weapon systems. This isn’t as far a stretch as it might seem.
