Let’s see the position of Mercury before we rush to any judgements about the capabilities of the US military.

nerd Retrograde is when the planet’s direction of travel though the zodiacal constellations appears to temporarily reverse from our vantage on Earth, not that planet’s position in the sky.

The following is an oversimplification, but Mercury and Venus spend a lot of time in retrograde because they are inside our orbit; they are in retrograde for much of the half of their orbit they pass between us and the sun. For planets outside Earth’s orbit, they are in retrograde less often, basically when Earth is passing their (slower) orbit up.

Planets orbit faster the closer they are to the sun, so retrograde events happen frequently for Venus and Mercury, providing plenty of excuses for miscommunications and frustrated love.

F-35 expert here! That jet is actually very uncomfortable based on hull language. Please do not do this with any you meet in the wild!

I am looking forward to Felix’s rant about the downed F35.

If he can insert NGE or Elden Ring, I’ll have BINGO.

An actual answer is an infrared surface to air missile (IR SAM) ambush on an aircraft flying at low to medium altitude. The footage supports that, the missile impacts by the engine exhaust on the rear aspect suggesting infrared guidance, the aircraft is intact afterwards (shown in this image, no wings or stabilisers flying off) which is consistent with the smaller warheads on these systems, and reportedly returned back to base.

The US led coalition had 28 aircraft damaged or destroyed by the IR SAMs during the Gulf War.. It’s a well known threat. Iran’s IR SAMs are more modern and advanced than what Saddam Hussein’s Iraq had, as with all technology nowadays.
