Transgender people in Ukraine would beg to differ in how effective claiming to be trans is to get out of military, but unless you at least have “legally” transitioned it doesn’t count to them. Even worse, if you have legally transitioned, but didn’t have SRS, they could make up some BS.
Of course USA is not UA and idk how much it’s applicable in a situation where they’re drafting people to send abroad vs keeping them trapped at home.

Ambulance exhaustion, psych holds, hospitals on the training bases overwhelmed, fights, catatonic trauma responses, panic attacks, barrack RIOTS, drill sergeants unable to cope leading to rule-breaking like putting hands on conscripts

I think I read that the military was actually concerned about this very possibility.
If there was a draft I wouldn’t be surprised if they walked back the trans / gay bans immediately.
Everybody can refuse the draft for every possible reason.

A draft would mean they just armed and trained a bunch of people who fucking hate the government, who 110% do not want to be there or help. i know theyre stupid enough to do it anyway but id like to think theyd consider this
