Like me. I shouldn’t have kids. They’d be all like “DAAAAAD!!! I NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL!!!” and I’d be like “So what’s stopping you? Go on! Git!” And then they’d cry…because they think daddy doesn’t love them…but in reality I’m just dealing with year 42 of untreated undiagnosed crippling depression.
What about oscillating between the two?

Me too! My memories of childhood consist of my mother listlessly watching tv after making some sort of boxed dinner for us and my dad getting drunk in the basement and talking to himself.

Talk to people is so cumbersome, I only talk to them if I have to
No excuses… You will find out in certain cultures there is no real need to talk to empty vessels. Your microcosm is just apart of one big turd pie. Change the enviroment change the person. Over throw the goverment or like relocate yourself and you will see… it is not you it is them and all the turds that go along with it. Also the gift of gab is a survival mechanism… If you were hungry enough you could filibusterer your arse into a loaf of bread.
