The solar maximum is supposed to be sometime next year or 2026. I’m so excited for these storms to get worse. Friday’s storm taught me that I can locally catch a vivid off-peak aurora at that severity using 0.3% of the exposure time previous ones required. Anything worse and I can really plan out the perfect photo of one over the Rockies, maybe with the full milky way in the same shot.
C’moooon geomagnetic storm, just fuck my shit up 🌞

IT'S A GEOSTORM
The sun has an opportunity to do something extremely funny
If the sun destroys capitalism by frying all our technologies i will immediately convert to a sun cultist
Reject modernity, embrace Sol Invictus.
Praise the sun!
no more half measures walter
I think the point is the convert before and pray for the sun to save us.
I am now a believer.
Please save us sun god! 💖🙏
Big Orange Ball, or BOB for short.
It has been good for overall morale, i’ve seen a lot of cool images of the aurora.
wonder how bad Amateur Radio has been suffering the last few days…
It looks like it cuts off the explanation. Can someone who can load Twitter properly tell me what the explanation is claimed to be?
It’s ionospheric propagation solar flares make ionosphere more reflective.
Gimme them superpowers already
I wanna be Apollo
Awesome, maybe I’ll get to see them after all!
