It’s part of a series. I’ve never really seen it from this image but there are others that seem pretty undeniable.

The expressions are to blame, as much as the poses and framing. Riding that line between pouty-as-seductive and pouty-as-how-old-was-that-cheese. Swap the clothes for some drab apron dresses and it’d look like a Rembrandt.
Ironically I tried nailing down the historical dresses I’m picturing, and based on this overview, searched for “Grechen costume.” Which brought up Amazon hits based on Mean Girls. Time is a flat circle.
