I wanted start ricing for a long while now, and i finally did something!! The focus is obv on the fastfetch config, everything else i just ripped the color theme from somewhere else. But this is the first time ive actually riced something myself and made something unique :3

Ricing, originally short for "Racing with a Rice Rocket or Ricer, an racist slur that became popular a few years back in OS Themeing and customization. (I first noticed it in HyprLand customization, which in itself is not free of controversy, but I do not know where it came from).

nope, havent used rose pine :) the hyprland and fastfetch config i made myself, and the hyprpanel is the catpuccin (i think it was frappe) theme. the colors i got by using a color palette from image extractor :P

I’ve recently begun my foray into Quickshell. Really looking forward to creating some cool stuff using that. The things you can create… The possibilities seem to be endless. Imagination being the limit, etc.
Highly recommend you check it out. Although warning: you might start to feel that your ricing is very inadequate. 😆 I know I felt that way about mine.
yeah i’ve heard about quickshell, seen some impressive things with it lol. I concluded though that its better for laptops, since i mostly use my keyboard on my PC and thus i dont need so many widgets like in quickshell yknow when I get a laptop though next year for uni ill definitely look into it again more
and yeah the 9070 xt is such a powerhouse
