Daughter got her ATAR score and is getting automatically accepted into all her preferences.

Other good news, I made the 45 second microwave omelette and it’s so fucking good.

What a great day (so far)

Assignment was marked!! Would’ve gotten a HD but I still passed!!! Yay!

My dad asked me if this was the kick up the ass I needed. I hope it is. It will be. I will not repeat these patterns next year.

Also, it’s sunny and a house down the road has some cool Christmas inflatables in their lawn (imagine having that much space in your front yard)!

If you’re new / still in probation, best to be on your best behaviour. A couple of drinks is OK, but not drinking at all is fine too.

Don’t drink unless you want to risk becoming a story of the night. Love, a Lesson Learned (several times over)

(unless you can handle your drinks and one or two is okay and you are okay with cutting yourself off. I have no cut off button)

For me personally I would try to avoid going as the vulnerability to missteps are high? But also with some jobs you’re kind of forced to network or they hold it against you, so idk read the room the best you can on that.

Maybe go and subtly stick to a drink that looks like alcohol but isn’t. And probably leave early because as the night goes on things tend to get more messy.

Made it back down the bellarine.

This morning was the 5th consecutive weigh in for ol’ girl >45kg up from 39 so taking it easy until xmas / new year. I was very much unpopular over the last year and a bit lol.

Thankfully relationship b/w ol’ boy / girl / me survived all of that.

If I were to do it all over I should’ve been more aggressive food-wise earlier being honest so bit of a fuck up on my part.

It’s not a fuckup on your part. You’ve been given all of the responsibility and mental load of a caring job that ol’ girl fights against and ol’ boy (or bro) doesn’t assist in.

Some things are too much for any one person. Don’t blame yourself for the outcome when you’re the only person that stepped up.

All the stuff on today’s todo list is done. I even steam cleaned the upstairs rug. It looks brand new.

By next week every single cupboard and drawer in the house will be organised. Everything in it’s right place. All junk gone to either op shops, given away or turfed.

UnKAOS will be complete. It will take minimal work to upkeep the house. A few repairs of furniture, chair legs need stabilising is the only house job left. Might sort my LP record collection. Turf some I don’t want.

beach, tv and art work projects beckon 🙂

    I’ve done it now.

Melbcat was crying to go outside because the sun hadn’t reached inside yet and I caved. We’re sitting in the hot sun and she’s probably getting new fleas. And now she’s going to keep asking! I just thought I’d ease up a bit, keep her happy.

I just hope other animals don’t bring in parvo and that she doesn’t make a run for it.

Edit: She’s asleep… Still outside. I’ve grabbed the umbrella to shield us both

Take some deeeeeeep breaths, focus on Melbacat’s cute little sleeping form and allow yourself a moment. You have so much going on, just enjoy this moment. And when you need to go to the toilet, she’s had a lovely dose of sunshine and outside and it was awesome of you to allow it!

I’m just hoping the magpies don’t swoop her. (The black cat was getting dive bombed)
