      And

This isn’t the first time Delta has removed someone off a flight for how they dressed.

In March, Lisa Archbold held a news conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred, and explained how on a Delta flight to SFO she was asked to deplane due to her choice of clothing. Archbold said she believes the airline had a problem with her not wearing a bra under her shirt and was told, “Women must cover-up.”

I’m gonna need to see the shirt, not just read what the slogan said. I can’t make any judgement until then because there could very well be more to the story. I’m leaning toward Delta being ridiculous especially if it was just words on a shirt But what if the shirt had someone hanging from a noose or dead from a gunshot wound? What if it looks like the shirt was covered in blood? More context is needed.

They show the shirt in the video. It’s a plain black t with white and red lettering.

Edit: The shirt appears at the 28 second mark.

So what if there was a noose or blood depicted? Thats none of their business.

Eh. Intentionally incitive clothing is banned for a good reason. You don’t want drama from political rivalry happening in an air bus hours away from an airport.

I don’t mind the policy of “STFU for X hours until you get to your destination”. This includes people trying to incite you.

Whether or not this is extreme enough to warrant incoming this rule is another matter. As the person you responded to implied, there may be a way to present that opinion in a highly inciteful way thats not fully realized by the wording alone, so they’re withholding judgement. That seems prudent.

Wearing a call to action about psychiatric health is incitive. Ehh.

              I don’t know. I haven’t seen the shirt. That’s the point.

Just because I agree with the text of the shirt doesn’t mean it’s appropriate to wear in an enclosed area with a bunch of stressed out people known for drama just like this.

Maybe the shirt had some “offensive” picture on it but the first thee pages of a Google search for “don’t give in to the war within shirt” just shows shirts with the words on it and sometimes an American flag. Someome on the flight was an asshole and complained putting Delta in a lose/lose position.

    So Delta supports veteran suicide.

I’m surprised they don’t put that in their ads.

That’s absurd. The shirt wasn’t even remotely threatening. Did another passenger complain? Did the flight attendant do this on their own authority? If, after changing, she was dressed appropriately enough to fly, why was she forced to sit in a different seat?

The male flight attendant saw she was braless and wanted to see some tits.

She could have just as easily been allowed to change in the bathroom. They could have just as easily had a female colleague handle it.

He could have allowed her just to put the sweatshirt on over it, too.

But nope. He made deplane (isolating her), then change while he watched.

As a Bay Area resident, what the absolute fuck? Is delta in favor of veteran suicide. For something to be “threatening” there has to be some sort of articulable threat. Who was the flight attendant white knighting for, the grim reaper?

    Fuck delta

Mental note: Delta flight attendants are absolute fucking pieces of shit, and I should never fly Delta.
