Ken Yager, a 77-year-old Republican representing a district in the north of his state, was pulled over by a Georgia State trooper around 5 p.m. on Tuesday on suspicion his vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run the same day.

Maybe it depends on the app/platform but I only see titles when scrolling, so it sounded like he just got pulled over. Thus, not drawing attention to the bigger issue, which is the hit and run.

Saw a video of a judge that got pulled over and he really gave the cop a tongue-lashing. After the cop ran the tag and verified he was a judge he apologized profusely. Figured it worked the same for senators.

No sympathy for him, but it got me wondering if it’s really fair to subject elderly people and others who have difficulty standing to the “walk the line” test.
