eveytime columbus is brought up i must, and i repeat, must, remind everyone that he was so evil and doing so much killing, slavery, and r*pe that his own men tattled him out to the queen and it was enough to shock even the colonialist elite at the time how awful he was
like image being so bad you even shock inbred colonialists who literally do genocide with your depravity
“If we don’t honor the guy who murdered millions, the only alternative is honoring a guy that middle school social studies said was bad.”
i like how the marx statue and the base of the genocide statue are magically passing through the ground without displacing it.
Oh yeah, all Columbus statues are like that. Not necessarily Marx, but they need to occupy the space of someone more deserving and put them in the ground
they need to occupy the space of someone more deserving and put them in the ground
true
it’s anti-Italian discrimination!
There’s an edited version of this drawing that replaced Marx with Freddy Fazbear lmao
Engels made up Freddy to antagonize Marx
Under capitalism we spend 5 lives at Freddy’s
they both went to the same college
This is maybe the most unoriginal idea for a political cartoon, there are like a hundred of them with this nonsensical revolving statue thing. I appreciate the red arrows though, could have been a little tough to understand what is happening otherwise.
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE
Hell yeah
Buff werewolf Lenin
Awooooooo-ooooo
Werewolf of Lenin
In dis house Marx was a fuckin’ HERO
Thank God for those arrows
inside of you there are two wolves: columbus and marx
Is there anything about Marx, that makes him the opposite of Columbus? Did Marx sail?
Marx did the opposite of sail.
He positioned himself on a small island off the coast and sang beautiful songs to attract unwitting sailors. They would destroy their ships on the rocks trying to find the source of the beautiful songs. At which point the surviving sailors would each get an autographed copy of Das Kapital. This is why modern day capitalists fear Marxism, global sea trade would grind to a half if even five well positioned people followed in the footsteps of Marx.
This is also why each statue of Columbus is required, by US federal law, to have a Marx statue attached to the bottom. It’s to provide the proper counterbalance when attaching the statue to the ground, otherwise these things would flip on their own all the time. It makes the Columbus statue neutrally buoyant.
